Sunday Funday

I’d never heard the term “Sunday Funday” until moving down to San Diego.. but let me tell you, it’s kind of a big deal down here. In much of SD, Sunday Funday is defined as jam-packed bars and a surprising amount of early afternoon drinking.
P & I haven’t quite immersed ourselves fully into the culture yet, and so we put our own spin on the weekly tradition. In our case today, Sunday Funday consisted of enjoying coffee on the beach, making sand pyramids, playing with my new-ish camera, crafting, and topping it all off with pizza and a movie.
Despite what he says, I’m a much better pyramid builder than P. I mean c’mon my people built THE pyramids.
I’m planning to start a Branching Fig store on Etsy, but got a bit sidetracked this weekend researching tax laws and the legal mumbo-jumbo to handle it by the books. It was a bit overwhelming.
…taking these photos was way more fun.
We have a month of jam-fun-packed weekends ahead, visiting friends and hosting family visits, so it was nice to spend the day relaxing and taking it easy.
Nothing else to report tonight, but thought I’d share some of these photos – I thought they came out pretty well! Playing photographer was such a throwback to high school… haven’t taken many “artsy” photos since my days in Mr. Hoy’s darkroom. Felt a bit strange to edit the photos on my computer, rather than on my favorite Bessler enlarger engulfed in the weirdly comforting stench of developer.
What did you do on your Sunday Funday?
I noticed your website’s ranking in google’s search results is very low.
You are loosing a lot of traffic. You need high
PageRank backlinks to rank in top 10. I know – buying
them is too expensive. It’s better to own them. I know how
to do that, just google it:
